The Mission:
The mission of The Bodywork Collaborative is to support each individual in understanding what their body needs in order to restore balance, reduce pain, and feel more at ease.
At the center of this work is Bryn Merida, a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 25 years of experience. Her approach is both clinical and intuitive, grounded in a deep understanding of musculoskeletal function, while also recognizing the role of the nervous system in chronic tension, pain, and stress patterns. Sessions are guided not only by what is physically present, but by how the body is responding and adapting over time.
The “Collaborative” reflects a philosophy of care: That healing is layered, individualized, and supported through thoughtful, responsive work.

Bryn Merida, LMT & MABT certified
Bryn Merida is a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 25 years of experience, specializing in integrative, therapeutic bodywork.
Her work combines advanced manual therapy techniques with a strong understanding of nervous system function, allowing her to address both the physical and underlying contributors to pain and tension.
She is extensively trained in chronic pain management, injury rehabilitation, myofascial and neuromuscular techniques, and prenatal support. Bryn is also certified in Mindful Awareness in Body-Oriented Therapy (MABT), incorporating mindfulness and body-based awareness into her sessions to support deeper, more sustainable change.
Her work is informed by principles of Polyvagal Theory and trauma-aware care, creating a space where clients can safely down-regulate, reconnect, and experience meaningful relief.
In addition to bodywork, Bryn has training in life coaching, which she integrates when appropriate to support clients in developing greater awareness, resilience, and alignment.
Bryn’s approach is grounded, intuitive, and highly individualized, meeting each client where they are, and working with the body in a way that is both effective and sustainable.

TAMEA BACON
Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist
Everyone's goals are unique, and therefore there is no "one size fits all" approach.
I have experience training a wide variety of individuals, but specialize in helping people with weight loss, and increasing quality of life through exercise and nutrition. I don't believe in the "no pain no gain" mentality, but rather insuring that we start at the appropriate level and integrate the most adequate training modalities to help you reach your goals. I love to set goals, and believe that the key to success is consistency; if you commit to a solid plan and progress in the right way, I promise you'll be amazed at what you can achieve.
