Hi everyone!

We get a lot of questions about who can benefit from massage therapy and bodywork. If you're expecting a baby, we think you should know about the benefits of pre-natal massage.

Prenatal massage offers many benefits that can enhance the well-being of both the expectant mother and her unborn child. A notable advantage is relief from common pregnancy-related discomforts like back pain, joint discomfort, and muscle tension. Prenatal massage helps alleviate these issues by improving circulation, reducing muscle tension, and promoting relaxation, which can lead to better sleep and reduced anxiety.

Another benefit of prenatal massage is its positive impact on emotional well-being. The gentle, nurturing touch of a prenatal massage can help lower stress hormone levels.

Lastly, prenatal massage can prepare the body for labor and delivery. By enhancing blood flow and promoting flexibility, massage can help maintain muscle tone and joint flexibility, which are crucial for the birthing process. Some studies suggest that regular prenatal massage can lead to shorter and less painful labor, as well as fewer complications during delivery.

Muffy’s Monthly Check-In

Oh those summer days!

Sun and comfy place to nap? Yes, please! I had a nice summer season but I am ready to enjoy my first Autumn. I keep hearing about leaves falling and something called Halloween. I don't understand much about tricks, but I do know what a treat is. When is this day of treats?

See you soon!

Muffy
